Something or Nothing

dear all,

John 15:16
"You did not choose me; I chose you and appointed you to go and bear much fruit, the kind of fruit that endures. And so the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name.'

Jesus has always been the extraordinary Man and God in my life and i bet also in the lives of many people who has earnestly seek Him. And we all should know too that His Way is always the highest.
When Jesus said I chose you... Who did he choose?
Do you ever think of the question before? No?

As you go through the Bible yourself especially the books of Gospel or even the old Testament, Jesus literally chose someone who is considered nothing to the society or even nothing to themselves, to be his disciple or His important person to be a part in His great and extraordinary plan for the world ( to save the world). The Galilean fishermen Simon Peter, Andrew, James and John, starts with John the Baptist are the few fishermen who are being picked by Jesus to be His Follower. Fishermen during their period of time was labeled as useless, worthless, despised, and ignored by the society. Yet, Jesus chose them. Jesus Himself who was ,is and is to come ,the King of kings and the Lord of lords humble Himself to become someone who is considered nothing to the world. The world, that He created by His own hand. He was from the weakest and the poorest tribe in the town of Bethelehem in Judae and was born in a manger. During the last days of His life, He was crucified on the cross by His own people who had treated Him as if He is an animal. He was being kicked, humiliated, beaten up, scourged, spat, slapped and chained and crucified. In all, He was also considered nothing to His society. However, great things were yet to come. By His Blood, He saved the world. By His blood , He saved you and me.

Jesus said in-
Pro 3:34 "He has no use for conceited people, but shows favor to those who are humble"

Psa 18:27 "You (God) save those who are humble, but you humble those who are proud."
( God said He will save those who are humble, but He did't say I will save those who are proud )

1Co 1:27 "God purposely chose what the world considers nonsense (nothing) in order to shame the wise, and he chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the powerful."

Jesus choose people who are considered nothing to the world, to shame the wise.
Wow...
As we all know, people tend to compare themselves with other or even to an extend, to put others in their shoe and ended up condemning and demoting others. They are pleased with what they have or when they have " Something". Degrees, branded goods, cars, how many ex-, popularity, and so on.... But do you know what Jesus said regarding all these things , TOTAL FOOLISH...

So, my friend, do you consider yourself something or nothing?

Let me throw you a simple question.... What will Jesus think of me?

God Bless...

My damaged car because of the accident

Damaged

Repaired

Near Escape- God’s grace and mercy

There was this testimony that I wanted to share so much. It is about the matter of life and death for me and my three other friends who were in my car . We were all so excited about our trip to Hutan Lipur Sekayu in Terengganu, where we started our journey from Kuala Terengganu. It was approximately 2 hours drive from Kuala Terengganu. And I was the driver of the day. As we were talking and laughing away throughout our journey to and from Hutan Lipur Sekayu back to KT, we all didn’t know that disaster can be just a second away. And surely, It was by the grace and mercy of God that we, four are still alive today.

It was after the trip that I realized my car had a serious mechanical problem. The petrol oil was leaking. Not just leaking, but profusely leaking from the cable that is connected to the engine. What had happened was that for the past two weeks before the trip, I had got to know that my car smell petrol oil whenever I started the engine. And I was dumb enough to ignore it. I thought it was just because my car is old ,that’s why the smell of petrol was strong. And guess what, I was totally wrong.
What could have prevented four of us and other people who drove my car from the taste of the disaster is none other than the true provision and unconditional LOVE of that person, and He is none other than the person or God called JESUS CHRIST. He ordered that the mechanical problem of my car must be fixed immediately without any more delay. And, that is why I got into an accident. A planned accident by Jesus. The accident involved a lorry, which came from behind, and knocked behind my car. Then the lorry driver, who I thought might just sped off with his lorry like langgar lari , stopped his vehicle and told me that it was his fault (thank God . He is a nice guy ). Consequently, he was good enough to bring me to the nearest car shop and some more, he is the regular costumer of the shop. Wow… God really planned the accident properly and seriously. To add, at the moment of the accident, I asked God “Father, why is this happening ? What is the purpose of the accident? TELL ME….”

After repairing the damaged part of my car, it seemed that my car was back to a good shape, but the mechanic was a bit unsatisfied because my car smell petrol oil after I started the engine. Then, only now the true investigation kicked in. The mechanics asked me to open the bonnet, endeavouring to check for any mechanical problem. And guess what he found. The petrol oil was leaking profusely from the cable. Then, the mechanic slowly turned his face and stared at me with a stern and angry look.

He said “ How can you play around with this kind of thing? Do you know that your car would just explore anytime when you start driving?

Then, he continued to ask "Did you ever bring your car for service?” and I told him “ Yes, I did.”

He replied “Who was the one that checked your car? Is he a Chinese?”

I answered yes. At the next moment, he shook his head showing his disappointment toward the Chinese mechanic who previously serviced my car. Without further questioning, He straight away fixed the leaking cable for me. At the end, he reminded me again not to “play” with this kind of thing. It is not funny at all. It is about life and death.

After hearing that, I was rooted to the spot. I couldn’t believe what I had realized. Before I knew it, I nearly cried because at that moment, I knew why the accident took place. Jesus , in action, showed me how much He loves me and important am I to Him. Not to say, to other of my friends too who sat and drove my car before the accident... Jesus made the accident as an excuse for my car to be repaired before anything worst, which I couldn’t imagine, happens. He saved our lives. He kept to His promise when he said –

in Isaiah 41:10 “ So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed , for I am your God. I will strengthen and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand.”

In Titus 3:5 “ He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy…

AMEN… All Glory to the Father in Heaven
